Concept of S-HIN screw
The S-HIN screw inherits the basic performance of the SAG screw and is more versatile. While suppressing the occurrence of breakup, which is an unstable phenomenon during plasticization, and realizing plasticization stability, we have also improved the plasticization capacity to accommodate a wider range of resins.
The general-purpose screw compresses resin while applying shear force, maximizing shear heat generation and utilizing it to plasticize and melt the resin. The S-HIN screw minimizes compression of the resin, while effectively utilizing heater heat in a balanced manner, thereby conducting plasticization melting while suppressing localized shear heat generation.
